Baby Diaper Bag

Today I'm sharing a real quick gift bag for a baby shower.  The pattern paper is from DCWV Nana's Kids.  I chose these colors since it could go for either a boy or girl.  I used #44907 diaper gift bag by Megan Hardy Designs from the Silhouette Store.  I decided to use rhinestones in replace of brads for the buttons on the straps.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope everyone has had a wonderful Saturday.

You're A Peach!

Today's card was simple.  You're A Peach!

Card Recipe:

With the help of my gypsy I used Cricut Cartridge Wild Card 2 (Page 53)

White cardstock - Base card @ 5"
Lighter Green cardstock - Stripes @ 5"

Yellow ribbon from Michael's $1 bin.

The phrase was all cut @ 1 1/2".  I used several cardstock (darker green, white, and yellow).  Each piece was layered over each other.  When adhering this to the card I used both my ATG and thicker foam tape.

The Peach was also cut @ 5".  The cardstock colors used were lighter orange, orange, brown and darker green.  I swiss dotted the peach and used the swirl divine folder for the leaf.  I used thin foam tape to adhere it to the card.

If you have any questions regarding this cut.  Please feel free to leave me a comment and I will get back to you.  If not, please still leave a comment because I really enjoy reading everything everyone has to say.  So with all that said, have a wonderful Friday.

Swirly Clover

Hello!  Today I'm sharing an A2 Swirly Clover Card.

Card Recipe:

Silhouette Store #55674 by Jamie Cripps

White cardstock - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Studio G Patterned Paper - 4 x 5 1/4
White ribbon 5/8 by Offray

The swirly was cut out of green cardstock.  One of the shamrocks was cut out of white cardstock.  While the other one was cut out of the same green cardstock as the swirly.  These images are all in the file.

I attached the white to the green shamrock.  Wrapped some green twine around the shamrock and foam taped it to the swirly.

I took two flowers from the Recollections Floral Embellishments (green).  I'm not sure if you can still purchase these as I got them on clearance from Michael's. Glued one flower on top of the other and added a rhinestone to the middle.

Finally, I added some white liquid pearl drops to the clover.

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend.  Thanks again for stopping by.

So Lucky To Have You

Hello!  Today I'm sharing with you an A2 So Lucky To Have You Card.

Card Recipe:

Silhouette Store #55672 by Jamie Cripps

Base Card - Green cardstock
Mat - Gold cardstock (4 1/8 x 5 3/8); I did not use the mat in the file

The shamrock was cut both in white and green cardstock and layered.  This image is provided for you in the file.  I wrapped green bakery twine from Studio G around the shamrock and tied a bow.  Then I cut the heart out of DCWV glitter paper.  I adhered it to the shamrock with thicker foam tape.  Put thinner foam tape on the back of the shamrock and placed it in its spot.  This card was so easy to make.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Wow, I can't believe that St. Patrick's Day is only a few days away.  So with that in mind, I would like to share with you a card I made.

Card Recipe:

Tan cardstock - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
White cardstock - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
Black cardstock - 3 5/8 x 3 1/2
Green cardstock - 3 3/8 x 3 1/4

Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge (page 64):

White circle @ 1 3/4
Black circle @ 2
Tan scalloped circle @ 2

A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge (page 31):

Shamrock @ 1 1/2

Shamrock was outlined with a black zig pen.  A green brad was punched in the center.  The shamrock was then adhered to the circles with foam tape.

Black ribbon (5/8) from Offray was tied around the white cardstock and then knotted.  I stamped "Happy St. Patrick's Day" from Hero Arts with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Peeled Paint onto the white cardstock.

As always, thanks for stopping by and leaving comments.  I truly appreciate them.

Lucky Horseshoe

Today I'm sharing with you a treat bag for St. Patrick's Day.  You can find this item in the silhouette store.  It's item #56050 - 3D Lucky Horseshoe with Handle Box by Snapdragon Snippets.

The main bag was cut using green cardstock from Michael's.

The word "lucky" was cut using Recollections metallic paper pad.  This paper pad went on clearance during the holidays.  For the shadow, I used the same green cardstock for the main bag.

The horseshoe was cut in three different images.  The shadow was cut in a darker green cardstock.  The gold dots was cut from the same recollections metallic paper pad.  The top layer was cut using black cardstock.  (I apologize for the picture as it was starting to snow again while taking this photo outside.  That is why you see splots on the black).  I used vellum for the window.  I didn't put anything in it, so that is why you can't see through it.

I used Metallic Gold ribbon by Celebrate It from Michael's.

I sure enjoyed making this.  It was very easy to assemble.  Thanks for stopping by and visiting.  Have a wonderful Saturday!

ICEDOGS Hockey Banquet

Last weekend was our final home game, along with parent's weekend.  During our banquet breakfast on Sunday, we had both raffles and silent auctions.  I made several of these gift card holders for our silent auction.

This cut is called Library Pocket & Gift Card Holder (#4215) by Lori Whitlock.

The puck is from a separate svg file that I have.  I cut it at 3.145 x 1.095 out of black cardstock.  I inked it with two different inks from Dew Drop (s. black - BD90 & m. white - BD80).

I then copied and sized the logo down.  I foamed taped it onto the gift card holder after inking around the image.

The hockey stick also came from another svg file that I have.  I cut it at 4.310 x 2.735 out of white cardstock.  For the tape on the stick, I cut five black strips at 3/4" x 3/4" and removed any extra that might have hung over.  Then I inked the entire stick with black ink.

This is a rear view of the gift card holder.  The white cardstock is where the gift card was attached and then inserted into the holder.

Our silent auction gifts.

We had such a great time mingling with everyone.  We even raised two-thirds more from last year.  Way to go gang!!!
