This last week has been a difficult week for me and my family.  My father at age 67 died suddenly.  This is the obituary that was posted in the Signal newspaper back in our hometown.  Tonight we will be having services here in Bozeman, Montana and then again on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Santa Clarita, California where he will be with God.

Dennis George Farnham

Dennis George Farnham, 67, passed away in Bozeman on July 16, 2011. He was born June 11, 1944 in National City, California, to Charles Richard and Marie (Boziger) Farnham.

Dennis attended San Diego City College, the FBI Academy, and later retired from the Los Angeles Police Department. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Dennis married Kathleen Hagan in Winterhaven, California on April 17, 1966. He was a member of the Optimist Club, the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce, Explorer Scouts (LAPD), the Masons, and the Shriner's. Dennis lived life to the fullest. There wasn't anything in life that he wouldn't try once.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Gallatin Gateway; daughters, Shawn (Steve) Box, and Sheri Farnham; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22. A Sunset Service will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Bozeman Pond Pavilion (west of the Mall). Interment will be in Eternal Valley Memorial Mortuary, Santa Clarita, California.

Instead of sending flowers, he had asked that donations be made to either the Shrine or Eagle Mount in his honor.  If you would like to receive more information regarding these two groups, please feel free to email me.

Thank you all for the love and prayers we have been receiving........... God Bless!
