Good Evening All!!!

It's finally Friday again.  Tomorrow our daughter's work is having a BBQ and they have invited her family to attend.  We finally get to meet all these young ladies and gentlemen that she speaks so highly of.  Please keep in mind, she works at an assisted living facility for the elder.  We asked her if there was anything that we needed to bring.  Of course she said, "No, everything is taken care of."  Well, since we can never attend a BBQ without bringing something.  We decided to bring something individual for each of the young ladies and gentlemen.

While browsing the internet the other day, I came across these cute little purses.  When I showed them to my daughter, she stated those would be great.  So off we went to the store to buy "Hersey Nuggets - Milk Chocolate Only".  This project was so easy and quick.  Here is a couple of photos.  I apologize if they are blurry.  My camera needed a charge.

All you need is a scrap piece of paper (1 3/8" x 4 1/2"), ribbon, velcro, glue and flower rhinestones.  Score the piece of paper at (1 1/4, 2 1/4, 3 1/2 & 3 3/4).  We glued the bottom of the hersey nugget to the paper so it wouldn't slide out.  Below is a picture of what it looks like when they are open.  How easy is that?

These purses of course, were for the ladies.  Then we had to figure out something for the gentlemen.  So for theirs, we decided to use black card stock (1 3/8 x 3 1/4) and wrap it around the entire Hersey nugget.  Velcro the ends together.  Attach a red bow made from PDDU at 3/4" fit to length and add a rhinestone to bow.  Whalla!!!!  This is what we came up with...............

Well, if your anything like me.  You'll love getting one of these just for the chocolate (LOL).  These would be great to make for either a bridal shower or a birthday party.  If you should make these, I would love to see them.

Once again, thanks for blogging with me.  It really means alot to me.  Have a great evening!
