Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day!  This is the last sketch of May at Mojo Monday - #193!  You can choose a round or square option (or both if you are feeling particularly creative!) using this fun sketch by Julee Tilman.

I chose the circle option for my "Party" theme card.

I used yellow card stock to cut a 5" scalloped circle card from Birthday Bash cartridge.  Layered a white card cicle @ 5".  They cut two more circle @ 4 1/2" from DCWV - Citrus cardstock stack (blue & striped).  Cut each circle in half and then half again to make a quarter from each circle.  Then I cut another cicle @ 3" from DCWV - Citrus cardstock stack (orange).  Gel pen, rhinestone, green ribbon, party sticker, and flower chipboard the rest of the card.  How easy was that?

Thanks you all for stopping by.  It's time for a fabulous birthday lunch with my husband.

This is the card that I entered into Papercraft Star Challenge #47.

Hope you all are having a great weekend and the weather has been pleasant.

Hi Everyone!

Well today seems to be the official start of the holiday weekend.  Everyone is packing up their trailers and heading out.  Not me!  Our plans are to stick around and try and get some yard work done.  With all this rain and flooding that is accruing around town (closed roads), we just thought it would be smarter.  We also had some hail today, which we are still trying to finish repairing our house from the last two hail storms we had.  It seems to be a never ending battle.

So today I finished a birthday card for my daughter's boyfriend who just set sail for Oklahoma.  This is what it looks like.

The cartridge that I used was the Just Because cartridge.  Yes, he owns a red truck with chrome.  Sure hope he likes it!

Anyhow, you all have a wonderful evening and thanks again for stopping by.

Challenge Me Monday

Today I entered "Challenge Me Monday" at Fantabulous Cricut. As the school year comes to an end, we often want to thank that special teacher that has done so much for our child, grandchild etc., so this week is "Teacher Feature".

#59 Teacher Feature
Make a card or project for that special teacher with the color red on it.  This challenge ends at Midnight May 15th (mountain time).

My daughter and I made this awhile back for one of her "Special Teachers".  As a matter of fact, both my girls had this same teacher.  So we had to come up with something different this time to give to her.  We used so many different things:  Wood, floral wire, ruler, and etc.  We even added her school picture.  So what do you think?

Thank you all for looking.  My daughter was so excited to give this gift to her "Special Teacher".

Graduation Day

Hello Everyone!

It's been a sunny/rainy day for two Montana State University Graduations.  One was scheduled for 8:30am and the other one was scheduled for 1:30pm.  Why?  I don't know.  Rumor is because of so many students graduating.  So this town is just hoppin with activity today.  Later tonight will be Bozeman High School's Prom.  Of course, you have to be either a Junior or Senior to go to this event.  Unless asked by either a Junior or Senior.  So for this year, we made out.  Next year with be something totally different.

So in honor of MSU Graduates.  I am dedicating the two different graduation cards to the Class of 2011.  Congratulations!!!!!!!!

Card Facing:

The inside of this card only:

This card was made with MSU's colors in mind:

Each card was made slightly different.  The cricut cartridge that I used on both cards was "Locker Talk".  The graduation hat in the yellow card was cut at  3 1/4".  The size of the card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", yellow base card stock.  The congratulations paper was from DCWV sold at Joann's by the sheet cut at 2 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Ribbon was adhered, along with stars that were both from Michael's.  I finished it off by adding some glitter glue to accent the graduation hat.

Before, ending this lovely evening I also would like to share with you that I've entered this card into the Celebrate the Occasion Challenge.  This week honors all 2011 graduates!  No matter the age or category.  Challenge #12, the theme is "Graduation".  So, create a card, layout or project and post by Sunday, May 8th, 11:59pm (EST).   Good Luck!!!!!!

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and the gang has decided we will be touring "Yellowstone National Park".  I can't wait!  Hope to post some great pictures tomorrow evening.  In the meantime, Happy Mother's Day!!
Good Evening!!!!!!
